A well-deserved break

As school kids we always looked forward to picnics where one could have a gala time with their buddies.
But even as grown-ups we all look forward to them. And if a prominent club in the city is organising it then there���s nothing like it. One such rocking picnic held at the lush green lawns of a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city gave our workaholics an opportunity to take a break from their monotonous jobs.Virtually all the members were present at this do, as it was organised on a Sunday. The pleasant weather proved to be an added bonus for the guests.
Adding to the fun quotient were exciting games like cricket, badminton and football that kept everyone engaged. It was interesting to see the adults playing and behaving in a childlike manner. In fact they also enjoyed fighting with each other like school kids over petty things in the games. Later everyone participated in Antakshari. The naach and gaana continued for a long time with each member giving stiff competition to the other.
Ritu, Suman and Madhu enjoyed the games to the hilt. Lovi Gandhi and Ruchi Gandhi ensured that everything went on smoothly.
Well, if their parents are having unlimited masti, how can the kids be left behind? We saw several of them dancing in a cosy corner. The popular numbers of Himesh Reshammiya proved to be their favourite tracks.
